Understanding Performance

  • Use 50 mesh or larger screens in spraying equipment.
  • Optimal control occurs when applied between 12° and 24° C in good growing conditions when weeds are small and actively growing. Under warm moist conditions herbicide symptoms may be accelerated.
  • For best results, ensure thorough spray coverage of target weeds. Use higher water volumes for heavier weed pressure.
  • Weeds that are not emerged will not be controlled.
  • Rapid symptoms (rapid browning, necrosis) occur within hours after application. Other symptoms (yellowing, curled leaves, twisted stems, cupped leaves) of dying weeds may not be noticeable for 10-14 days after application depending upon growing conditions. Control may take 3-4 weeks.
  • Extreme weather conditions such as temperature, moisture, soil conditions and cultural practices may affect activity. Under drought conditions control may be reduced as weeds hardened off by drought are less susceptible.
  • Do not apply this product, or products containing these active ingredients more than once per growing season.
  • Do not use on highly variable soils that have large gravelly or sandy areas, eroded knolls, calcium deposits, or organic matter less than 3% as risk of future crop damage will increase.
